Gathering PC Stats
I'm looking for a way to do this:
user comes to website, server side script gathers information about the PC ... i'm going to need lots of stuff which I don't think is possible from a serverside program
RAM
Harddrive capacity
Processor... etcetera
If this is possible I would love some help!

dsheller:
You are talking about "environmental variables" one of which is HTTP_USER_AGENT that provides information that indicates the type of browser that the client used to submit a request to the server. There are lots, and lots more of them.
Maybe it would be a good idea to do a Google search on environmental variables and do a little reading about them.
Good Luck

Well I am trying to go a different route with this... I am attempting to use WMI with Javascript. I can't get the scriptomatic scripts to work how I want exactly, so if anyone can work out a test where the javascript prints to the html body that would be wonderful... any WMI call would work! Thanks!
