Print a selected chart

I have a chart on a worksheet of an open workbook. The chart name is “test”
I ask from a user to print the selected chart with default printer. For this reason (prints) I have setup the "adobe postscript printer" with port location the file “test.txt”
I would like to see if the user actions are correct (selects the chart and prints the selected chart). I can’t find the right way to do this. First I have to check if the user makes the right movements in excel and then check the file test.txt so I can find if the user calls the print command.
Any ideas ?

Thanks for your help but I try to do this from external vb6 app. Not from excel (VBA)
