[RESOLVED] possible to programmatically change the image of a picture in a Report

Hi! I have a database that has a field "image" wich contains the path of an image. I NEED to print these image in a crystal report (that's what the application I'm designing is intended to) and I can't include the image directly in the database since it's limited to 2go and their will be a minimum of 3500 image ± 5mb...

Is there a way I can set the image of a picturebox at runtime??? Please I need an answer on this one, since it's the main goal of the application and I just found out, Crystal Report doesnt seem to allow this....

If its really impossible, would there be another way to go?

I'm using Crystal Report .NET (the one included with VStudio 2003)

    Thabnk you!!!

Re: URGENT possible to programmatically change the image of a picture in a Report URGENT

    Read here:http://www.businessobjects.com/produ...ts/default.asp.
They are the one distributing crystal reports. I've read that crystal report version 11 has capability to load image during runtime but I haven't use it yet.

I haven't used the version that ships with .NET, but I have used the versions that have shipped with every version VB since VB3 and those version are not worth the time it takes to open them up.

The versions that Crystal ships with the Microsoft products is their Standard version which has virtually no features that are useful. These versions are designed for one reason, and one reason only, that is to whet your appetite enough so you will go out an purchase either the Professional or Enterprise Editions of Crystal Reports which does have all the cool features.

I am trying to accomplish this same task. I usually use the CR that comes with VS but I also have CR XI. I do not understand how I would accomplish this with CR XI. Isn't it controlled by the code? Won't the options in VS be the same for the crystal report not matter what version?
