    using powerpoint files in VB

    Dear Professionals:

    I embedded PowerPoint file in my form as an OLE, it is needed to run PowerPoint to run the presentation, I want Microsoft PowerPoint be installed on end user's pc automatically, I tried " packaging and development " Add in, but it couldn't make an installer for me, by any chance is there any way to install Microsoft programs individually and automatically? Or using a file without need to install its application first?

    Or I can ask my question in this way:

    My program doesn't work on computer which Microsoft PowerPoint is not installed.

    Because some reasons I don't want to use PowerPoint viewer, it doesn't work properly with animation timings. Is there any way I can install all the appropriate files by VB itself.

    Thanks for your help in advance

    Yours sincerely

    Bobby

    Welcome to the Forums.

    You can not redistribute ANY microsoft office app. Your end user needs to have PowerPoint installed or, depending on your ppt, the powerpoint viewer which is redistributable. End of story unless you want Bill coming after you
