find and change font color

how can I find word(s) of an html file then change the font color of the found words...just like when we search in this forum then the search hits will change the words that matched the search...

First tell me, do you want to permanently change the colors (as in, you're directly reading the .HTML file and changing the colors) or do you want to change the colors as you display it to the user within some other web page?
