    Resolved [RESOLVED] norton antivirus

ever since a few months ago norton antivirus has disabled the auto protect and the email scanning. when i click enable on these options nothing happens. it all started wen i accidently instealled run.exe but even though i removed that norton has still been acting funny although it still scans and updates fine. does anyone know wats wrong or wat i can do to fix it?

Did you re-boot? You may have to re-install.

    Re: norton antivirus

Did you un-install it before you re-installed it? Maybe it didn't overwrite old settings? If that doesn't work, you may have a problem.
It sounds like you may have to format the machine.

What was run.exe? Never heard of it
