[RESOLVED] Remote Debugging
I am running Windows XP (without SP2) on my development machine and Windows 2000 on my remote server.
How do I configure things so that I can debug an application remotely?
Debugging on my development machine and then copying the files to the remote server is not an option as my IT department will only allow the remote server to send email via SMTP.

Re: Remote Debugging
To summarise
- Insert the Visual Studio.NET disc in the remote server
- Select Remote Components Setup
- Install from the web page that appears
- Add your username to the Debuggers/Developers User Group http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/de...allingdcom.asp
- Restart the server and the local machine to be sure the permissions are updated
- Try and figure out ASP.NET
