Resolved Common Dialog doesn't open files [Resoved]

I'm having a strange problem with my common dialog control. It pops up fine, but after I double click a file to open, the file does not appear and the common dialog window goes away. If I right mouse click on the same file within the common dialog window and select open it opens the file without any problem. If you have any suggestions please let me know.

    Thanks

    Welcome to the Forums.

Are you using VBA or VB6?

All the commondialog control does is to help you give the user a way to "select" a file. Once its selected you have to write
code to open the file and read its data to some control on your form for viewing or ???

Try a search for it, there are many examples.
