    "There are unused icons on your desktop"
    How can I get rid of that anoying popup ???

    I don't care if I have unused icons, I want them there even if I will never use them !

    Stupid XP and it's noying popups ! ... arrrggg huh...

    I never want to see that popup again !

    So how do I take it off ?

    Gangsta Yoda says to put a cap in Windows XP.

    Display Properties > Customize Desktop > Desktop Items > General tab > uncheck Run desktop cleanup wizard every 60 days.

    Thanks... I was expecting some windows registry changes, that's why it did not even cross my mind to check the settings in windows...
