Yeah, but it's the thought that counts.
Paul and td - looks like you have yet another rival!

Yeah...It was kind of sad. He was a good kid but his Mom was a piece of work. I don't think anyone had ever paid any attention to him before and he didn't quite know how to deal with it. He got over it...is in junior college now and doing quite well.

A piece of work?
which kind?
the kind that is mean, and always thinks of herself before her loved ones, or the kind that always steals attention away from her kids, etc..?

The kind that is too busy telling her kids how awful they are to notice how awful she is!

I think I'll get over the rejection, Matthew....someday.
Going online is a great place to meet people but there's no substitute for the real thing. If the girl has failed biology she may appreciate a little help. Give her a call and ask if she needs you to tutor her!

bad Matthew!!! first of all, smoking is cool *Dennis takes drag, coughs and spits discolored teeth out*
and 2nd, in my opinion, online relationships are much better than real ones... you get a chance to get to know a person without looks getting in the way... when you know and love the person, looks won't matter... but when you first see somebody a stereotype is raised "he looks like a nerd", "he looks like a slob", "he looks like a jerk"... etc...
but on the internet, you know this person, and when you meet F2F, it doesn't matter because you've already been "with" the person for quite a bit of time.....

Ain't driving yet Katie .
I passed the test. I still have to do my 6 hours before I can have the permit handed to me.
6 hours of driving around.
Usually they do it 2 hours a day for 3 days.
But...it also cost $$$....about $200 .

Smoking is not cool...but it is a very hard habit to break.
Sound like the laws are a little different back East. My kids got training in school...got their permits...drove with me or my husband for six months and took their test to get the license...no cost involved at all.

They just brought out new smoking laws here. You're no longer allowed to smoke in public places
