    Quick links

I was thinking it would be nice if there was an option to add out own links (from within the forums) to the quick links drop down. Or somewhere else. Like at the very top or bottom have an option to add your top few favorite forums. That way I don't have to go into my favorites to get back to the Classic VB forum.

    Just a thought.

I know... This is going to seem horribly lazy of me... But thats a lot of scrolling because there are so many different forums. If you want an idea of what I mean go to generalanytopic.com and look at the top of their forum pages. It has links to popular ones. It's cool if you don't want to do it. Its just an idea.

I don't believe the forum jump list can be modified in that manner. Also, while a "top forums" list might be useful, it might seem to newbies like they were the only forums to post in, and since there are so many that would mean work for the mods moving threads to the specific forums.

Here some other ideas: I use Firefox and if I want to go to say Classic VB forum (in a new tab or window) I just type "vbf" in the address bar and Classic VB is the first on the list. I also use the SessionSaver extension which preserves all your tabs when you close Fx, so I just leave the User CP, Classic VB, and forum index pages open and all I have to do to get there is click on them

All good point. And you have no idea how badly I wish I could use firefox, but because of circumstances beyond my control, I'm stuck using... I can't say it. Sigh. AOL. I know I know, its sad. Anyway. Thanks for the feedback.

Once you have AOL connected, you can use any other browser that you want, can't you? Kids have been getting around AOL filters using IE for a long time
