USB Devices
I am looking for a USB Device which will have a portable DVD Writer attached to it. Which companies are currently manufacturing these devices?
Whats your experience?

Re: USB Devices
you're talking about an external DVD writer? I have an IBM DVD burner that came with my laptop, it uses USB 2.0 to burn, although you need to plug it in because USB 2.0 cannot send enough power for the burn process.
It supports all formats except DVD +R i believe (it may be -R)
So it includes dual layer
Google IBM external DVD burner and you should find it

Re: USB Devices
I currently looked at PCWorld.Com site and it doesn't list IBM. Its got a External DVD Burner by Memorex.
