Error on CR 8 after Deployment
Hi,
I have made a small application in vb 6 and cr8 the source code runs pretty well on my machine but when i deploy and install it on a machine running xp and try to display a report I get the error unable to open database. Could anyone help

hm..this is also one of my concerns with the deployment of my program in the near future...
let'see what the other people got to say.......
however, let me ask you a question..
what did u do to choose the database file? did u use the ADO connection, or file browse?

What kind of database are you using?
Can the machine you installed on access this database on its own?

Several things going on here.
Did you create an installation package?
Did you include the CR dependancies?
How are you connecting to your report?
What kind of db are you using?
