    Annoying Popups!

    Oh my god.

Every time I connect to the internet, about every 30 seconds a little ad pops up in the top left corner. It is displayed in internet explorer.

I have tried editing my hosts file, ad-aware, and tips on the internet. This thing won't die.

Anyone had the same problem as me before and know how to fix it?

    Thanks

Or try downloading Spybot Search & Destroy. It's free, and it's the best adware/spyware/trojan remover. Google it, and it should be the first link.

Alternatively, don't download and install dodgy software or visit "those kinds" of sites anymore .

You have to eliminate this at its source:

    - Find out whos responsible for it
    - hunt them down
    - and break all their @#$%^&*() fingers!

If you're got XP, install XPSP2 ASAP. Not only is it something noone should be without, but it helps stop lots of this crap.

And as always, don't click yes to every dialog you see just to get rid of it.
I use Microsoft Visual Basic 2005. (Therefore, most code samples I provide will be based around the .NET Framework v2.0, unless otherwise specified)
