Report error
Good morning
Could anyone help with a rather bizzare problem. I am using VB 6 with Access 97 to produce a report but when I run the program the report pages appear blank with no error messages. After I have used to debug to look at the contents of the variables which make up the report it appears as should. On consequent run throughs the report contents sometime appear and sometime not! Any suggestions? I have checked to make sure that I have closed each recordset at the end of a run.
Thanks
Anne

Re: Report error
Welcome to the forums.
Since you posted in the Crystal Reports section, I'm assuming that is what you are using as opposed to Access Reports.
Is your Crystal Report bound to an Access Table that gets populated with the results of your recordset (which I'm assuming you are creating based on a query.)

Re: Report error
Hi there and thanks for the response....no its the Data Report designer in VB. Im bringing all the data from tables into recordsets which are recognised in the Data Environment This part works fine....i can see the contents and they are fine its just that the first time round on viewing the datareport there is no info there......if i use the debugger in VB to trace through though the information it appears on the report. It's the strangest thing ive come across.

Re: Report error
Well, I've never actually used the Data Report before, so I can't offer any suggestions from experience. I did do this Google search on the subject however. Hopefully one of these links will provide an answer.
Is there such a thing as Refresh with this?
