Ive been wanting to make a program that allows users to enter a username and password and access the database(MS Access preferrebly). and check if Username.Text = Entry in database, If Password.Text = Username speceified with password.

basically....only vendors or distributors can access the "system configuration" page.......

Ok 2 questions,

Is this a Network Question? do you wnat the client to login remotley?

Or is the database local?

1. Database is on a server
2. I want a client to be able to check the database if USERNAME exists, then see if the username entry's password matches the PASSWORD textfield, if so then go to next step
