math. correlation on 2 files

I need to do a cross/auto correlation on 2 files. each file contains 1 column of numbers, say about 100 numbers in each file.

e.g
file 1
1
2
3
4
5
6
7


file 2
1
2
3
4
5
6
7


and so on.

Does anyone know of any functions /add-ons that will do this or have anyone got the code for this?

Presumably you could use VLOOKUP()
