    Its all gone fuzzy?

Whenever i open a java applet (even netBeans IDE), my screen goes fuzzy making it hard to focus. Any fixes?

No idae what you mean by Fuzzy. But I bet the easiest way to handle it is to uninstall Netbeans, and the Java SDK and everything, and then try to reinstall.

Unless anyone else has seen this before.

I don't know what you mean by "fuzzy", but if it's happening at other times too, you might need to update some drivers for your graphics card.

Can you see applets on the web(ones you haven't done) clearly?
    Can you post a screenshot?

top one is normal, bottom one is with ANY java applet.

also, it only stops being fuzzy if i open a java applet in netBeans, and close it again. HOWEVER whenever i move my mouse over the netBeans window my PC does a strange High-Pitched whistle, and have no option but to restart netBeans. [goto top]

I've never encountered something like this, nor heard of something of this sort. First, go ahead and try what Note said earlier, and reinstall netbeans, jdk, jvm.

The thing I don't understand, is that it's with any java applet. If reinstalling doesn't work, the only thing I could think of is running windows updates or something to update some drivers. I don't know if that will work, but it could be something external to the jdk, jvm, and netbeans.

    Let us know the results.

This also happens to me whenever a java applet is launched, i open the java control panel, it even happens when I open LimeWire. The only "fix" i've found is changing screen resolutions or refresh rates. I've reinstalled all programs involved mulitiple times with no result. Hope this information can help someone solve the problem.

If that is the fix, then it sounds like a driver issue to me. Have you tried installing the newest display drivers for you GPU?
