    Yes, that is possible (I've already done it).

    BUT: it is a quite complex procedure and is not the same for each cellphone operator.

    What you should do:
    Contact your cellphone operator and ask them for information about sending SMS

    (I live in Belgium where we have 2 operators. I asked both of them and received the code to do it)
