Send messages via radio frequency
I guess this would fit here...
I'm making 2 devices with a display screens, keyboards, micro storage, etc.
They will be close range message devices, I was thinking of using a radio frequency but i was wondering if anyone knows if it is possible send messages(text) using FM/AM signal...

This page describes several common modes of RF data transmission:

Which mode you use obviously depends on what kind of data you need to transfer. Frequency Shift Keying (FSK) would probably be suitable for sending simple text messages between two devices.

Re: Send messages via radio frequency
Okay, Thank you very much. Helped greatly...
All I need to worry about if I use FM/AM is signal strength, if both are transmitting messages they will cancel out, so i guess Digital signals is the best choice....
