    Windows Logon

When I installed my Windows XP Professionnal, there was no logon Windows. I don't know what I did, but now, each time I open my computer, it asks me to click on a user to enter Windows. How can I remove it and always enter Windows with a selected user like Windows 2000 ?

    Re: Windows Logon

The Welcome screen is the default logon method in Windows XP. To change it go to
Control Panel > User Accounts > click "Change the way users log on or off" > uncheck "use the welcome screen"

    Re: Windows Logon

This will change it to a login / password screen like the other Windows. What I want to do is enter Windows directly without entering password or clicking on user!

    Re: Windows Logon

I was just replying to your original question. I only see the two options - classic logon or single click welcome screen.
I was not able to find any other method. Is your system on a network?

    Re: Windows Logon

Download and install TweakUI from Microsoft from here: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/d...powertoys.mspx

It has an option to setup Autologon, find that and it is pretty straight forward.
I use Microsoft Visual Basic 2005. (Therefore, most code samples I provide will be based around the .NET Framework v2.0, unless otherwise specified)
