What happened to my post count?

I was here a few months ago and my post count was pushing 300, now I look like a newbie with a pathetic 12 posts. It's taken me over 5 years to get those 300 posts, and now I'm reset back? What gives?

I guess most of your post where done before the server crash? Long time ago? Was your post count manualy changed after that incident? If so, that is why. Because when we upgraded to vBulletin 3, then the post count was updated to the actualy post count, and not how many posts you have done included the posts you lost.

A year ago (2 years?) when under different ownership the forum server crashed and many posts were lost. At that time we artificially increased the post counts of those who asked to have that done. We recently converted to V3 of the forum sofware which had the effect of setting everone's post count to the actual count of posts remaining in the database. We also decided at that time to not to try to maintain the inflated counts. Sorry.

Ah, too bad. Yes, I did most of my postings before my account was deleted with the crash a year or two ago. Ah well, should only take me about 5 more years to get it back where it was. Thanks anyway.
