    Re: deployment question

If your only adding references to Word and not the program (winword.exe or any of
its dependancies) itself then your good to go!

Only thing is that your target system must have Word installed for it to run.
This is up to the client to provide or you could purchase a license for them
and install it on their system yourself for additional fee

I think there is an add in that allows you to read word documents even if you do't have word on your system. It wouldn't do you any good, though.

    Re: deployment question

actually, hoped that someone would post a link to find it, as I obviously had forgotten, but was needing to make a new thread about it. Plus, it seems that you had already answered his question.

    Re: deployment question

Yeah, i called microsoft and got the same answer i ended up using http://aspose.com to make changes but its not a viewer. They also have a convert to html function so i think i'm going that route, by making changes then convert to html then view a html file. I was wondering what the new office development tools licensing is. but then i read VS 2005 offers a sweet office interface with some aspects royalty free. Did vbforums stop sending out reply emails? anyway thanks for your replies.
