Can you solve this riddle?
I got this out a book I'm reading, and want to see if anyone can guess it:
What can run, but never walks, has a mouth but never talks, has a bed but never sleeps, has a head but never weeps?
There are others to if anyone is interested in the challenge.

Re: Can you solve this riddle?
Your have to give us the name of this book afterwards as it sounds intriguing
This is a wild stab in the dark so am probably way off but ‘ch’ and ‘ur’ in the middle makes ‘curh’ or perhaps’church’ as ‘ur’ is inside the word ‘church’ and ‘ch’ are side by side or the ‘ur’ bit ??
lol probably way off though and that probably doesn’t make any sense what so ever lol

I will wait for death with a smile and a big stick

Re: Can you solve this riddle?
Nice easy one for you:
What can you put into a bucket that will make it lighter but you can not take it out and you can make bigger but never smaller and you can always add more of them ?

Re: Can you solve this riddle?
Here's a hard one:
What walks on four legs in the morning, two legs in the evening, and three legs at night?
Note: I'm reading this from Stephen Kings Dark Tower series, specifically from Wizard and Glass

Re: Can you solve this riddle?
Here are a couple of VEERY easy ones:
1.
One thin, one bold
One sick, one cold.
The world we span
to prey upon man
Who are we?
2.
What is it you have to answer?
But to answer you have to ask?
And to ask you have to speak?
And to speak you have to know?
3.
A part of heaven,
Though it touches the earth.
Some say it's valuable,
Others - no worth.
4.
Part pickle, part crazy,
You can't call this flower lazy.
It perks its head up with a snout
And if it had a voice - I'm sure it'd shout.
5.
We are little airy creatures,
All of different voice and features;
One of us in glass is set,
One of us you'll find in jet,
T'other you may see in tin,
And the fourth a box within;
If the fifth you should pursue,
It can never fly from you.
6.
As I went through the garden gap,
Who should I meet but Dick Red-cap!
A stick in his hand, a stone in his throat,
If you'll tell me this riddle, I'll give you a groat.
7.
I'm up.
I'm down.
I'm all around.
Yet never can I be found.
8.
Though desert men once called me God,
To-day men call me mad,
For I wag my tail when I am angry,
And growl when I am glad.
9.
Never ahead, ever behind,
Yet flying swiftly past,
For a child, I last forever,
For adults, I'm gone too fast.

Re: Can you solve this riddle?
Well, #1 is obviously pudding skin.
And I'd say #9 is time.
Laugh, and the world laughs with you. Cry, and you just water down your vodka.
Take credit, not responsibility

#1 - Nope, although it does prey on man
#9 - Close enough. Youth/Childhood
