Gotfocus??????? [RESOLVED] ... er ... not resolved again ... :(
Good Afternoon All,
Here is the situation. Excel 2002 VBA Userform.
-I have 12 textboxes.
-Each has a character max of 1.
-The autotab property is set to true for all boxes.
I want the application to not allow the user to go on to the next textbox if the value is not between 1 and 5 or the number 9
If I could have used the gotfocus even I may have been able to make this work.
Any suggestions. I am really stuck.
Thanks.
Kid Coke
THE NEW PROBLEM:
Users can just press TAB or ENTER and leave the boxes empty.
Suggestions please....

Re: Gotfocus???????
Welcome to the Forums.
The UserForm object does not have a GotFocus event so you will probably
have to use the Chage event.
VB Code:
Private Sub TextBox1_Change()
If Val(TextBox1.Text) < 1 Or Val(TextBox1.Text) > 5 Then
MsgBox "Please enter a number between 1 and 5".
TextBox1.SetFocus
End If
End Sub
