Don't Panic!
VBA - Excel - DisplayAlerts...
Hi,
Returning from a 5 week holiday I find Excel (2k) is playing up...
1)
The DisplayAlerts is not setting to false (unless I manually do so in the immediates window and that works). Same for Screen updating and for turning off the pivot tables annoying toolbar.
2)
.Find is telling me it cannot search through numbers. Text is fine though. Manual ctrl+f is working on text and numbers. If I complete the rest of the arguements in the .Find it dies mysteriously. Or fails to work. this happened before and I put it down to Excel being crap.
Anyone who has come across this and know a possible fix... Please assist.
I know I am asking a lot as Excel variations/installations mean a delicate balance of vba coding working, but this is very annoying.

PS: It may be the install in which case I cannot do a thing
Feeling like a fly on the inside of a closed window (Thunk!)
If I post a lot, it is because I am bored at work! ;D Or stuck...
