    Resolved SendTo

Hello. In Win95 I used to have a Any Folder in the Send To options. No option like this in XP. Can't remember if it was a power toy for 95.

Anyone know how to achieve this in XP please?

    Re: SendTo

Yeah, it was a powertoy for Windows 95, and an excellent one at that. I've got it if you want it, i'll upload it here for you. It is excellent, I wish they'd include it in Windows Lognhorn as a standard feature.

    Installation Instructions
    1. Extract all the files to a folder (Desktop recommended)
    2. Right-click the .inf file and select Install
    3. When the dialog pops up informing you about the powertoy, close it to complete the installation.
    4. Enjoy!

    Usage Instructions
    1. Select all the files you wish to 'Send Anywhere'
    2. Right-click the selected files and click Send To->Any Folder...
    3. Browse to the folder that you wish to copy/move the files to, select the option to specify whether to copy or move and click OK.

I use Microsoft Visual Basic 2005. (Therefore, most code samples I provide will be based around the .NET Framework v2.0, unless otherwise specified)

You mean the "C:\Documents and Settings\VB-Guru\SendTo" folder?
I just make a shortcut to a folder I want to send files to, say a webfolder.
Then all I have to do is right click on any file in any folder and click Send
    To... > 'My Folder Destiunation'.

Is this what your talking about?

Nope, the 95 one, but it still works great.

    Re: SendTo

I have found a SendTo anywhere freeware program which works with XP. It's not as good as the old Win95 version, but it has more features like send to FTP, which may or may not prove to be useful. If anyone wants the link let me know and I'll try and find it again.

Putting all your folders in the SendTo folder is an option, but it doesn't offer the flexibilty of SendTo anywhere!

The one I posted works fine with Windows XP, it was made for Windows 95, doesn't mean it's no good.
