    Winsock?

What would be the VB.net equivalent of VB 6.0's winsock?

    Thanks,
    Jake

    Re: Winsock?

    Hi,

Depending on your taste and how you perceive "equivalent", there may not be something like the Winsock control in .Net (unless of course you use COM Interop and use the original Winsock control). Now, if you're refering to sockets in general, take a look at the System.Net.Sockets namespace.

    Cheers,
