Vb6 Sp6 [RESOLVED]
Is the SP6 file worth the 27MB download? I noticed that they have it available for download, and wondered if everyone else is running it? I don't know if it has anything for VB6, but it does mention some fixes for SourceSafe. Just thought that I'd ask...

Re: Vb6 Sp6
I have been running it at home since it came out and I have not really come
across any issues using it. Although, i remember hearing something with using
some controls but I cant remember. If its true Im sure someone will post it.
It took only seconds to download on my DSL line. I take it your using Dial-Up?

Re: Vb6 Sp6
nah, just wondering whether or not to get it. i don't remember anyone talking about it, and most people have SP5 as their language of choice.
I'll prolly get it, unless I hear anything negative about it.

Re: Vb6 Sp6
I'm doing the download now. The full version is taking all of 5 minutes, over the wireless link. It's 60MB. Getting 155KB/sec.
Done. Going to do the install and re-boot. back later...

Re: Vb6 Sp6 [RESOLVED]
a search for SP6 produced nothing relevent, so I posted it here. I don't know when you posted on it, and don't remember reading it, or else I would have downloaded it.

That thread was from before I knew about the site. I had only been toying around with VB back then.
