Where would I get a 68000 Assembler? -[RESOLVED]-
I'm trying to compiler an 68k program but I can't find a compiler anywhere, I don't know if I'm just searching for the wrong stuff but all I can find is compilers that take C and give you 68k assembly, I want it to take 68k asembly and give me the machine code. I've even tried searching for cross compiler but that gives just loads of articles rather than any exes.
EDIT: Just realised it was an Assembler I was after not a Compiler .

Re: Where would I get a 68000 Compiler?
Hewlett-Packard used to have a 68K processor in their machines, that had compilers, but I am not sure if it was anything but Pascal, or Basic. They might have also had C++.

On second through that link is to some ancient software! Pre 1990!
May I inquire as to what kind of device you are coding for?

Its just for the universitys Flight 68k Machines.
I ended up using FTP to connect to Uni and nicked their Assembler , it only runs on Linux so whenever I want to Assemble my code I have to reboot into Linux . Thanx anyway though ....If anyone wants the Assembler I think I'm able to distribute it but not sure, I might have to check on that .
