    FireFox - REMOVE an engine? [Resolved]

    With FireFox 1.0, I got a slew of unwanted search engines:

    Yahoo, Amazon, Creative Commons, and eBay.

    Until now, I had only been adding engines. Now how do I get rid of these pestilent entities?

    In you Firefox install directory there is a search plugins directory. Close your browser and just delete the .gif and .src file with the appropriate name to remove that particular engine.
