Does anybody know how to play Nim?

*Game where a random amount of stones are selected as the total, then players take turns taking a small amounts of rocks away, then the player that picks up the last rock loses.

I am working on programming the game so that I could play the computer.

Have nothing challenging? Please help me with the coding of such a game and e-mail your codes to [email protected]

Once again, thank you for your help.

*I do not specify a limit on the game because of variations in rules. But if you were playing a game with 100 total stones, then each player could take 1-5 stones per turn

if you want to simply play the game then go this site:

    or
download the java applet from www.deamon.co.uk
    and enjoy the game

    Arrow Rules

Not having played this game specifically I dont know if the following is true:

There is likely to be a limit on the ammount you are able take out....such as 3. So that makes a lil more sence now. There is a game similar to this with a limit of 2, we used to play in math in 5th grade. If I remember correctly you can predict the winner at about the 2nd move.
