separate explorer and desktop
Hi,
Does anybody know how separate the explorer process and desktop in Windows 2000?
When you have a problem with a explorer window and you kill it using task manager the desktop "reset" too.
I know that it is possible changing a parameter in windows registry because I read, it but I don´t remenber it.
Thanks

I may be wrong here, but try looking for "Launch folder windows in separate process" in the folder settings.

Process control doesn't give you good quality, it gives you consistent quality.
Good quality comes from consistently doing the right things.
