Hi, I was wondering, my program has a version number of 1 (as in v1.0) and im now updating it. But this update is a major update so should the new version number be 2.0? or should it be 1.2? any thoughts?

    Why don't you follow MS logic...3.1, 3.11, 3.11 WFW, 95, 98, 2000!!

Seriously though, if it's a major update, it should be the next integer value (e.g. 2.0). Minor updates are 1 decimal place (e.g 1.1).

That's how it should be anyway.

    Regards,
