Excel code - makes Excel go weird?

    Hi,

Just having the new computer here at work has sped things up nicely, browsing, work (ha!) and crashing/finding weird things.

Seems that (with the 3ghz, 512mb ram comps) excel cannot open my macros and some large sheets without replacing ctrl+s to put a big blue line across the sheet and not save. Since my coding has nothing to do with shortcuts on the keyboard I dunno whats wrong. And its only intermittant.

Has anyone else suffered this and have you solved it???

    Funny...
Not similar, but my colleague has reported that the newest excel (2003) does wierd stuff when undoing things:
    1) It does undo the last operation - that's good
    2) At the same times, it changes content of a randomly selected cell with random data! - now work with that

    Another issue:
    Project 2003!
I made a plan in 2003 with some wbs fields... shows different values in Project 2000! What is even more interesting, when someone else opens that file in 2000 and then I try to open it, I get readonly option, so I go, and dates are messed up plus some fields are not filled in!

I guess 2003 office needs a huge service pack

Actually there is a service pack out for Office located here.
Your best bet is to do a Office Update. Its like Windows Update,
but for Office located here and click on the "Check for Updates" link.
