Resolved Ok you network gurus (Routers, firewalls, port forwarding)[REsolved]

Ok well I have moved in with a friend of mine. We are on a Cable modem connection with a Linksys router(built in firewall). Our problem is we play the same computer games that need ports forwarded to work. But you cant port forward a port to more than 1 computer. So what kind of options do we have so that we can play our games at the same time?

Note: Some games we have the option to change the ports used, so those are fine, but others dont have that option.

Might be resolved. Going to try port triggering tonight and see if that does it. Saw this option in my router help last night, but the help didnt really explain what it was. And saw on the Linksys support site just now a support article for battle.net as an example using port triggering for multiple machines using same ports.

blah blah blah, dig an old machine out of your closet, and setup a dhcp server using smooth wall .

Smoothwall is free, and is self packaged with its own distro of linux. Easy to install and acts as an uber smart router I use it at my friends house and it pwns any router. Makes Cisco look like a lil school girl.

    1:Ip routing(Given)
    2:Linux Firewall(Fully customizable)
    3NS Support
4:I forgot the other options but they pwn
