    Can you give me a brief overview about sybase, and few tips
    on what books and other resources for me to learn this thing called sybase. Badly needed. thanks for your time and effort..god bless.

    It's a datbase management system...
    if u know SQL server, u're half-way there...
    They used to be ONE some time ago but U KNOW MICRSOFT...
    The best books I've found for this subject were SYBASE BOOKS THEMSELVES.. (I could be wrong)...
