I cannot sign out
I wanted to login to my old user name and i noticed that I cannot logout? what is going on.
i don't need to logout but i just wanted you to know that for some reason I cannot.
A possable reason is I was deleting select cookies today that may be the reason.
but like i said I dont need to log out and I keep my user name saved on this computer.
I tried both logout buttons, just FYI

The log out button works for me, I think I've heard of other people having problem with it, not sure why though. If you need to log out or login with another account then use another domain.
These domains will each allow a different user at a time:
http://www.vbforums.com
http://vbforums.com
http://www.vb-forums.com
http://vb-forums.com
I think there is a couple more but not sure of them

You may have to delete your VBF cookies.

I had that problem once.
I asked about it here, explaining how I'd use the log out button, it'd tell be all cookies cleared, I'd go to the main index, and Viola! I'm still listed as a logged in user.
But, I'm all better now.

Have you checked your cookie settings? I think that in Internet Explorer - if the Temporary files have reached their maximum size , it won't store new cookies. You may also only be accepting them for the current browsing session, so when you close your browser they will be deleted.
Look at your address bar. If the address looks something like this:
http://www.vbforums.com/newreply.php?&action=newreply&threadid=303601
It means that for one reason or another the VBF cookie has not been stored by your browser has had to use a session which is passed by the URL.

my settings have not changed since i formatted this computer, I think it is or was just an small bug in the cookie or the source. I could have just deleted the cookie but there was no reason to, because I don't need to sign out
Like i said i just wanted to let some of the ADMINS know about the problem!
