Thread: How can i tell if my CPU is installed and configured to use an incorrect clock speed?

    Hello i know this isn't about Vb but its really making me mad.....
    I am getting an "OUT OF SYNC" error and its becuase "The processor (CPU) installed in your computer is configured to use an incorrect clock speed." thats what MSN says and i have no clue of how to make it better or how to even tell if it isn't working right or where to go to fix the problem and how do u know what clock speed it is suppose to be at? Well if u know the answer and this Post doesn't get deleted before i can get a responce

    If your CPU has been overclocked then you need to open up you computer and change it back to its normal speed and if you don't know what this is, then call the company who you bought the computer from. For more information visit a tech forum called "PC Mechanic" http://www.pcmech.com/
