how do i get the following info from a music cd inserted into a drive:

the minute and second offsets (the starting location) of each track

?

any ideas?

Ive not seen a vb.net example of it, but heres a VB6 one you can look at for ideas:

thanks. although i dont know anything about api calls, so that doesnt mean very much to me.
i'll definately try to understand it though...

a vb.net example would be excellent if anybody has one....

this is almost exactly what i want to do, but it's in C, which i have no clue of...
if anybody could translate this...
or get the useful info out of it, i would be most grateful...
