vb switch
I know there was a ton of threads already about this when the forum was made........
But i'd like new opinions now
Is it hard to switch from vb 6 to vb.net ? And is it worth it?

Depends from person to person, how well you pick up things.
It's slightly difficult at first, and then once you get past the VB6 mental block, it's easy.

mmk. Thanks
I might decide to give it a go. Are there many advantages to it though? other then pure knowledge ...and being able to say "i know vb, vb.net ...etc"
p.s. I've done a search didn't like the old answers...

Is it worth it? in a word, YES! I've hit walls in VB where .net fixes thoes problems. Safe threading, better error handling, etc...
Plus if your doing it for a living, .NET is the way to go because companies are going that way.
