    "cannot lock file" error

    when I use my access mdb file....to open OLEDB connection...that is error I am getting...can anybody help

    Either someone else has your MDB file open or did have it open and crashed out and left the LDB file. Try looking for the LDB file in the same folder where the MDB is sitting. If it's there and you know that no one else is using the MDB, then delete the LDB and you should be able to get a lock on that file.
