A friend of mine was just curiouse about what happend if he tried one million on a site just like it in Norway. And it went through. He was so affraid. He thought he had to pay up. But one of his friends made a new false acount and posted 99999999999999999 in stead. So my friend didn't win..

The seller has two products sitting on £10,000 not that it is suspicios.

AKA he has two accounts and was supposed to be pushing it to £1000 to show alleged interest

I have astrange feeling he might be bidding on his own item. Its a coincidence that the user id has been kept secret.

If this is anything like a real auction then he could end up paying ten grand for his own crap

    Wouldn't that be great ?

yes you pay around 15p - £1 to place an item, then a percentage of how much the item makes. So if he has bid he has been very silly.

    Final Value Fees

When your listing ends, you will be charged a Final Value Fee based on the final value of your item. As a seller, you can request a full or partial Final Value Fee credit. Learn more

Single Item Listing Multiple Item Listing
Auction Style The final value is the closing bid.
You will not be charged a Final Value Fee if there were no bids on your item. The final value is the lowest successful bid. To calculate the Final Value Fee for your multiple item listing, calculate the Final Value Fee for a single item using the table below, and multiply by the number of items sold during your listing. You will not be charged a Final Value Fee if there were no bids on your item.
Buy It Now Only Format The final value is the Buy It Now price. You will not be charged a Final Value Fee if your item did not sell. The final value is the Buy It Now price. To calculate the Final Value Fee for your multiple item Buy It Now Only listing, calculate the Final Value Fee for a single item using the table below, and multiply by the number of items sold during your listing. You will not be charged a Final Value Fee if your item did not sell.

Table 4. Final Value Fee Ranges

    Final Price Range Fee Percentage
£0 - £29.99 5.25% for the amount of the current high bid (at the listing close for auction-style listings) up to £29.99
£30.00 - £599.99 3.25% for the part of the current high bid from £30.00 up to £599.99
£600.00 and up 1.75% for the balance of the current high bid greater than £600.00

5.25% of the amount of the high bid or successful Buy It Now price up to £29.99
    -Plus-

Maybe it was once owned by Elvis. Perhaps he wrote "Love Me Tender" on it.
