VS.NET 2002 Vs 2003
I have Visual Studio.NET 2002 and someone gave me a copy of 2003 except they didn't give me the prerequisites disk so I can't install it. Are there major changes or am I pretty safe using 2002? I tried to use the prerequisites disk from 2002 for ****s and giggles and it didnt work as I figured it would probably not.

do you know what they changed to have them release a whole new version?
i hear you cant open 2003 projects in 2002 but you can the other way around.. but once you save them in 2003 you cant open them in 2002 again.
I also heard it was mostly changes to add support for handheld and wireless devices interacting with the framework. along with IDE bug fixes...

Pirate used to have a link to a utility to convert 2002 projects to 2003 in his signature, but don't know if it's still there.

Actually, I think Pirate's link went the other way, convert 2003 to 2002, sorry.
