If people can help you then they will. You don't need to post two threads about the same subject within 5 minutes of each other. I cannot speak for others, but i find it quite annoying and if anything it makes me less likely to give you any help.
So if you would mind not doing it in future i'd appreciate it.
Regarding your post content, take a look at the FAQ on this forum here It includes two tutorials on making a snake game; one using pictureboxes and one using bitblt.
Feel free to post again (in this thread if it's related) if you have any problems.

Also, one must wonder why they all appear to be girls. All programming classes I have taken consist of maybe 1 to 2 girls, out of 30 people. All girl school or what?

Maybe they think that if they appear to be girls they'll get answers quicker (not that that is the case).
*shrugs*

I wasn't saying people should post more I was just sayign this isnt the most popular area on this site. However I kinda like it like this. I rarely visit the "Classic VB" section because there are so many posts every minute you can't read every post. Where as here I read evey thread that gets made and if I can help I will do.
Mind those people who ask about that cards.dll or whatever, I have never used it so I don't even open the thread when its got it in the title .
Earlier today I was just thinking of when I first came to VBF so many years ago and how little I knew .
And dsheller you haven't gone unseen, I have seen you in here lurking in the corner by the radiator .

I don't know too much about directx, need to restart doing those directx4vb tutorials =/ My regular VB skills are pretty decent though, I can atleast code my way out of a paper bag =) or perhaps... not through the bag... around the bag.

DirectX4VB is great I learned all my Dx stuff from there, well practically all of it. You lot starting VB in these days haven't got the benifit of ye ole VB-World that was a great site. I used it before I even bought VB .
As for worrying about asking simple Q's I say just ask them, you'll get a post count for it . And it reminds us here not everyone is at a advanced level . I've asked some stupid Q's before when I just can't think straight .

I started VB a few months before VBWorld was gone, they turned in to like... developer.com or something? Anyway that is how I found this site, didn't have vbworld to answer questions so had to find somewhere else =)
