    How do I set a node's parent to nothing?

    Set Node.Parent = Nothing raises and error.

    It's been a long time (12 months) since i've worked with treeviews but i remember having lots of hassles wit them. Mainly to do with the parent, child relationships.


    in the end i started to heavily use the ".Tag" property of each node to store information (like whether or not it was the root of the tree).

    Not sure what you're trying to achieve but it may help.
