    What is the difference between Windows XP and Windows XP Embedded?

    Embedded is for devices. Particualrly ones without screen. ie no media player, explorer, gui, and so on.

    Not necessarily. XP Embedded is for devices such as TV decoders, car stereo systems etc.
    I use Microsoft Visual Basic 2005. (Therefore, most code samples I provide will be based around the .NET Framework v2.0, unless otherwise specified)

    You said things w/o a screen and media player and explorer. The car one has media player, they all have a screen of some form.

    No. I said it doesnt come with things like Windows media player and explorer because they dont use them(Talking about the graphical components). And I said particularly devices that dont use a gui. I am not talking about small digital/LED readouts.
