    newton's method for non-linear equations

    HI,
I was wondering if someone has the code for newton's method for non- linear equations. I am trying to solve the following set of equations

    Sin(x +y ) = e^x-y
    Cos(x+6) = x^2*y^2

any help would be greatly appriciated

*thinks slowly* I'm going in circles...
Don't pay attention to this signature, it's contradictory.

"Can't" and "shouldn't" are two totally separate things.

All questions should be answered. All answers should be true. That is why I post.
