I have heard a lot of people mention Crystal reports, and I remember someone said they it was on the VB cd, but I cannot find it!

I have Visual Studio 6 Professional Edition, which consists of 2 CDs (with VB6, C++ etc on them), 2 MSDN Library CDs and a J++ Cd.

Can anyone tell me where exactly it is?

    Thanks,

VB6 not include anymore Crystal Reports. Last Crystal Reports came VB5, but you found Crystal Reports in here: http://www.seagatesoftware.com/products/crystalreports/

Yes, it does. Before VB6, Crystal Reports ws installed automatically, but not anymore. Just search the VB6 CD for Cr*.exe, it should be something similar to Crstl32.exe. This is a self-extracting installation file.

Of course, this is a very limited version of Crystal Reports. If you need a full blown version you can get it from Seagate Software. The current version is 7 (VB6 comes with 4.6)

Thanks guys. But is it any "better" than the data reports that come with VB?
