    Add ins

This is so basic I'm embarrassed....

I had to scratch my machine and reload VB. Now I have no "Add-ins". Can you guys run me through the procedure to get back my API Viewer , Crystal Report Designer etc.???

    Thanks,

    Tom

If they are installed you just go to "Add-ins" -> "Add-in manager...", and tick the "Startup" box for the ones you want.

If they arent installed, you will have to install them first!

That's my question. Sorry for wording same so poorly. I assumed it was installation and stuck the CD back in the drive, but it says that all components are installed. I have Visual Studio 6 CD's. What am I screwing up?

The ones you have mentioned are (I think) standard ones, in which case the probable cause is that you didn't select them during installation.

If selecting extra items in the install process doesnt work, explore the VB CD's to find them.
